Linda and I are on the final leg of our mini furlough. We have driven over 30,000 miles in just six months. We are grateful to our daughter, Jessica, and her husband, Randy, for the use and abuse of their car. We are also extremely pleased with the job done by our fill-in missionaries, Dr. McBride, Dr. Derusha, and Dr. and Mrs. Alice Byrd. Not only has the church survived under their leadership it has flourished. There have been many saved, baptized, and discipled in our absence.

We have enjoyed reporting to our supporting churches and presenting the work in new churches; several of which have agreed to partner with us in the work. This has brought our support up to 63%. Praise the Lord! We also had the privilege to preach a marriage seminar and a mission’s booster along the way.

As we look forward to our return, it is the closing of the first chapter of our ministry on Guam and the beginning of the next. As I look ahead, I seek your prayers about the growth of our school and the needed staff and financial provisions. Secondly, we are seeking the Lord’s will and direction in our building project (two of our Canadian supporting churches have given $5,000 dollars each towards the construction cost). Praise God for Canada!

Also, pray for Linda and me as we will be hopping back on a running train. We have members of our church that we have never even seen; new believers that need discipleship; not to mention the building project, Christian school, Bible Institute etc. etc. Love It!!!!

We will be flying out of Nashville on June the 16th with a stop over to see friends in Hawaii, then home sweet home.
